What is Reformer Pilates? And will I like it?
Reformer Pilates is an incredible form of resistance exercise used to improve muscular strength, endurance, mobility, stability and coordination through spring tension and various levels of resistance on a Reformer bed. It is a low impact form of resistance training that gives a lot of love to your joints, improving longevity and the ability to move freely as we age.
But don't be fooled, Reformer Pilates in no walk in the park! If you're someone that also loves to get the heart rate up and feel 'the burn', then you'll love the feeling of accomplishing a big workout that'll leave you feeling super satisfied!
So, is Reformer Pilates for you? Well, if your goal is to improve muscular strength, joint mobility and muscle tone with low impact cardio too, our guess is you'll love it! Plus, our group classes offer a supportive environment and we're sure you'll make some great friends along the way. But the best way to find out is to try a class for yourself. What have you got to lose!
We offer a range of Reformer Pilates classes in the Blue Mountains 6 days a week running from 6:30am in the morning to 8:30pm at night - so there's bound to be a time that works in with your schedule.
All of our classes are 45 minutes long and are led by our team of highly qualified, super friendly Pilates instructors (more on our amazing team in a moment). And please don't think you need to have done reformer Pilates before to attend one of our weekly classes. We encourage everyone (no matter your experience, age or gender) to come along if you think reformer is something you'll enjoy. If it is your first time, just be sure to attend a beginners class and our trainers will make you feel right at home.

With over 15 years of combined Matwork and Reformer Pilates experience between them, Ann, Cassie, Lisa and Ellissa will not just lead you through a rewarding workout that feels great, but also help you understand why you're doing it and the benefits of each exercise. Want a high energy Reformer workout focussed on strength, muscular endurance, toning and cardio? Try one of Ann or Lisa's classes (you'll work up a sweat). Prefer to focus on mobility, stability and incredible core control? Try out one of Cassie or Ellissa's flows.
How To Book
Booking into one of our weekly Reformer Pilates classes is easy. Just head to our book online page, select your preferred day, trainer and class time and you're done! You'll have the option to choose either a casual session or purchase one of our class packs. Casual sessions are $35 and class packs start at $32 per class. What to bring?
Before we forget, there's just a couple of things you need to bring to your first class:
1. You'll need a pair of Pilates grip socks which you can buy online or at most major fitness retailers. We also have grip socks to purchase in studio if you'd like some 'Mat Life' branded ones!
2. Of course a water bottle is a must
3. And lastly something you feel comfortable moving in
